Before writing in
- Confirm you are using the current Slate build from the Mac App Store or TestFlight when available.
- Include your macOS version, Slate version, and the file type you tried to open.
- For App Store purchases, try Restore Purchases from the app before contacting support.
- Do not send private files unless support explicitly asks for a sanitized sample.
Privacy-safe diagnostics
Slate support does not need your document body, file path, JSON keys, or table cells for most cases. Screenshots, short descriptions, and sanitized sample files are preferred.
