What is Slate Viewer?
Slate Viewer is a native Mac app for reading local AI result files. It opens Markdown, JSON, JSONL/NDJSON, TXT/LOG, CSV, and TSV on macOS 26.0 or later, starts with a readable Preview, and keeps Raw source available when details matter. It does not generate AI answers or create a cloud workspace around your files.

What these guides cover
Each guide stays within Slate Viewer 1.0’s verified scope: local file opening, reader-first Preview, Raw source when details matter, and Light Edit for supported writable files. They do not claim cloud sync, AI generation, or formats the app does not support.
